Hummingbird is a spacious East Side hilltop home with dramatic views of Santa Fe’s surrounding mountains to the East, North, and West! The home is located just down the street from the galleries and fine dining of Canyon Road, all while immersing you in Santa Fe’s gorgeous landscape. Hummingbird has three fireplaces, an extensive collection of original artwork, century-old Native American pots and baskets, and a library of Southwestern and general books of interest.
LIVING AREA
The living is centered around large glass doors that allow the mountains to be the perfect backdrop for your group’s gatherings.
A den/office is across from the kitchen and offers a daybed with a pop up trundle for additional guests.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen is fully equipped and features gorgeous quartz countertops and a black granite island that doubles as a breakfast bar. The formal dining table seats up to six under the antique chandelier.
BED AND BATH
The primary bedroom has a king bed and a deluxe en-suite bath with a jacuzzi. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, with a bathroom just down the hall.

I have used vacation rental companies in other locations, including California coastal communities and Hawaii. Two Casitas is the best. Their properties are consistently superior, with a wider range of pet-friendly options. Clean, usable website. The bureaucracy is less daunting and the staff has a can-do attitude. Yes, there are the obligatory legalities, rules and regulations, but Two Casitas seems to present them against the assumption you are a respected guest rather than a thieving pig. I wish they could all be like Two Casitas.

Sooooooo much better than being in a hotel. It was my first time to rent a house and it was recommended by a friend of mine, Sue. It's even lovelier than the pictures! You must have had a decorating genius to select all the beautiful items in the house. It was like staying in a show home, yet it was cozy and inviting. Staying at The Hummingbird was such a rich experience for us 5 girls. For me, it was more fun than the food, shopping, and museums of Santa Fe! If we hadn't stayed there, we wouldn't have experienced the cool breezes on the peaceful porch, seen the hummingbirds, had a quiet place to congregate for our evening meditation sessions, and to fix our own breakfasts and have a glass of wine in the evening. What a treasure! Many thanks to Will for responding immediately to my questions and being so helpful. I was very impressed with everything !!

This place has it all!
We stayed at Hummingbird with another couple and the home was perfect. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown. The layout of the bedrooms gave both couples privacy. The home is thoughtfully decorated in understated southwestern style with lovely artwork. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need for cozy meals at either the comfortable dining table or outside on the spacious deck. The deck is the best feature of the home, with outstanding views, seating areas, and gas grill. The customer service provided by Two Casitas was exemplary with informative emails and texts every step of the way. I highly recommend this property for your stay in Santa Fe.

This house is beautiful and has all the accommodations you will need to make your stay delightful. It is close to the Canyon Street Art District which I find much nicer than downtown Santa Fe as it is more charming and less touristy. The deck and views are fantastic from here, and you feel very secluded although you are right next door to other people. Great location and casita! Anne Aug 2016

Thank you so much for the gift of your beautiful home. We had such a wonderful time on the best trip we've ever been on together making memories we will cherish for a lifetime. It was so nice to be able to spend the day exploring then be able to come back to a cozy , relaxing environment. We loved the huge bathtub, luxurious shower, and spending our evenings together reading your intriguing books in front of the fire. We so admired the quaint, Southwestern decor of the house. Everything we needed was here making it easy for us to simply relax and enjoy our trip stress free. We have stayed in several houses over the years with Two Casitas and have always had a great time. The house is always very clean and comfortable. They make sure everything is taken care of so we can relax and have a good time.
The Hummingbird house is fantastic. Everything about it is perfect and comfortable. We liked hanging out on the porch in the evening watching the sun go down. The bedrooms are cozy and quiet surrounded by thick adobe walls. The house is positioned on a hill in the most optimal way so that you have great views and, morning and evening sun light. What a great house!

This is a wonderful home with stunning views of the mountains in both the East and the West. It is immaculately maintained and has all amenities provided for a great stay! The bathroom is HUGE and fabulous! The fireplaces are delightful. There is a wonderful deck with barbecue included. The home is close to everything, and walking is a treat. The owners left explicit instructions on the operation of the various amenities. Very considerate! Sugestions regarding local restaurants were much appreciated, although we thought the house so fabulous that we did not want to waste our time elsewhere. We ordered in and had our drinks and dinners in front of the fireplace! During past visits we have eaten at Santacafe, and it was very good. Try the Chipotle Cesar Salad followed by the poblano pepper stuffed with quinoa! Maria's is good for the tamales and the Tequila/Mescal flights, but the staff are not very welcoming, so we have decided to forget the place!

After reading the other reviews, we knew we had to stay at the Hummingbird. One reviewer said that they loved the house so much that they starting to eat in. We too started to eat in more and more. We could not stand to be away from this beautiful house another moment. Every night we would sit on the terrace and stare at the distance - the mountains, the trees, the sky, the sunsets. In every direction, our eyes had something of beauty on which to feast. My dad was enthralled by the visiting hummingbirds. One night we experienced the most spectacular thunderstorm. What a show! The location was more convenient than we had anticipated. It was a quick downhill walk to Canyon Road. Another 3 minute drive to the plaza. Shopping was under 10 minutes away. Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. I have already recommended this home and the Two Casitas website to many friends.
Notes
** Please note: This home is pet friendly, however there is no fence around the yard so there are a couple of rules that MUST be followed. All dogs MUST be supervised and on a leash at all times when outside of the home or they may be kept in the gated dog run that wraps around the south end of the house. Please be sure both gates are securely latched and bolted. The neighbors have dogs that they keep in their fenced yards and take out walking at least twice a day and Santa Fe has very strict leash laws. Coyotes are seen in Eastside neighborhoods from time to time at night, so leaving your dog outside on a leash or in the dog run after dark is not advised. Canine conflicts from any of these sources would be very unfortunate and are the legal responsibility of the guest/dog owner. Therefore, visiting dogs are NOT permitted to run loose on the property. By renting the house you are agreeing to these terms and to indemnify and pay the cost of defense of the owners and Two Casitas from any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this agreement.
Additionally, your driveway is an easement to the homes behind you. Please never park or leave your car in the driveway. There is plenty of room for you to park in your parking area in front of the garage (garage is for owner's use only).
