The casita was perfectly located, walking distance to everything in central Santa Fe. The casita is bright, warm, cheery and entirely comfortable! The vigas, lovely fireplace, brick floors, and spacious bedroom were completely charming! Will definitely stay again! Liz, February 2016

Our "home" at Old Santa Fe Trail has been one of highlights of our stay in Santa Fe. It's location, in a quiet neighborhood yet close to downtown, was perfect. Inside, the place truly is light and welcoming and so well decorated in the charming Southwest style. The website photos truly reflect this. This casita is well equipped with everything one could possible need: complete kitchen with big refrigerator, toaster oven, microwave and plenty of dishes and cutlery and there is ample storage everywhere. Bathroom had a great shower and all the comforts of home and the King-size bed was very comfortable. It met all our needs and all this for a very reasonable price too! We would love to come back one day in warmer days when we can breakfast on one of the two private patios... Thank you Wendy for the warm welcome with wine, blue corn chips and a great, spicy Southwest green salsa! We really enjoyed it all. Maryke, February 2016

Much to see in Sante Fe and the Old Sanae Fe Trail Casita is a great place to stay while taking in the sights of the city. The reason we chose this place was our conversations with Wendy and Germain who at all times were very helpful and cheerful. The place was clean and close to downtown so one could walk if the weather permitted. We ended up driving most of the time and it was nice to come back and have private parking at the rental. We had asked for some wood to be provided and there it was by the fireplace when we arrived. We enjoyed the small courtyard and drinking our coffee there. The only negative thing that we discovered was there seemed to be several ants in the kitchen area, not a serious problem but one does not want to leave any food out in the kitchen area. It was advertised as old world charm and it did provide that charm for our honeymoon. Nice very nice.

After 20-years, two girlfriends and I planned a reunion trip in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We stayed at the "Two Casitas" in a unti called "Old Santa Fe Trail". As it ended up, we spent most of the time in the casita. We just had too much to get caught-up with our lives. The casita was so comfortable, roomie and quiet. We chatted in the living room, the big bedroom, the outdoor patio and dining room. We spread-out over the entire unit and never felt cramped or invasive. The casita is like a small apartment with kitchen, laudry room and plenty of closet space. It is decorated nicely and with plently of natural sunlight. Although it sits behind a street, amazingly it was quiet. It is located within walking distance of town. We never had to drive anywhere. We would return to "Two Casitas" in a heartbeat!
