This one bedroom historic apartment is set apart from all others as it is the only one of its kind right on the world-famous Santa Fe Plaza. Built in the late 1800s, this upstairs apartment is freshly remodeled and decorated, and steeped in Santa Fe history.
LIVING AREA
A thorough collection of local art and artifacts that enhance the New Mexican atmosphere, a big picture window overlooks La Fonda and the Cathedral. The sofa converts into a a queen-size sleeper for additional guests.
KITCHEN AND DINING
The kitchen is fully-equipped to cook any meal, and is adorned with hand-painted cabinets. The dining area seats four, and is adjacent to the living room.
BED AND BATH
The king size bedroom features a large skylight and an additional TV. The renovated bathroom features a glass-enclosed shower and a gorgeous modern glass bowl sink.

PLEASE NOTE
- This home is very close to the cathedral, and the bells ring every 15 minutes
- This home is cooled by a swamp cooler rather than traditional AC. Swamp coolers are standard and effective in New Mexico's dry climate.
- No washer and dryer.
- The fireplace is decorative only and can not be used.
- This home is dog-friendly (for stays shorter than 14 nights) with an additional $150 fee, however dogs are not allowed on the furniture. Any pet hair found on the furniture may result in additional cleaning fees.
- This is a second-story walk-up apartment and is the only apartment in the building. No common area or contact with others when accessing the entrance to the building or the front door to the unit. There is no outdoor living space. The apartment is an urban setting and you will get some street noise in the living area at times. The back bedroom is very quiet.
- Complimentary parking is offered in the La Fonda garage across the street. Most standard cars and trucks have no problem fitting in La Fonda's garage, which has a 6' 6" clearance, but certain vehicles may have trouble and will need to park elsewhere. Please inquire with Two Casitas if you believe your vehicle may be too large.
-The outside of this home and the hallway of the building are monitored by security cameras.
We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. Two Casitas is centrally located and an easy walking distance to museums, shopping, restaurants, and historic sites. The casita is charmingly decorated in the Santa Fe style and we felt very at home there. I am recommending a trip to Santa Fe and a stay at Two Casitas to all my friends. Becky Sept. 2016

This is the most comfortable, small apartment located perfectly for us to meander around the plaza! It's warm, cozy and totally tastefully! There are modern conveniences such as wifi, flat screen TV's and updated bathroom. We'll be back!Lisa Nov. 2016

We loved staying in the in 1 BD Plaza Casita. The location was absolutely terrific; so neat to be able to walk to restaurants, the cathedral, Loretto Chapel and museums. It was so festive to look out the living room windows and see the farolitos lining the roof of the La Fonda hotel. Having parking guaranteed at the La Fonda hotel garage was a major plus!
The apartment is very nicely appointed and comfortable as well. I found the kitchen to be very well equipped and although we didn't really cook , it was nice to have all the amenities for breakfast, some lunches and snacks.
I also want to say how impressed I have been with your professional and friendly approach. My husband and I had a lovely anniversary celebration. We have rented houses in CA (primarily Sea Ranch) numerous times and working with Two Casitas has been the best experience to date.

Great location, cozy, well decorated with beautiful skylight in the master bedroom. We felt right at home immediately. The condo is clean and well maintained. Good customer service from property manager. convenient to church, shops, restaurants and museums. It is faster to walk across the street to get a latte than it is to make a cup of coffee in the morning. With one small bath it is better suited for a couple rather than four people. My wife and I agree we will stay here again.
